Tell us a little about yourself.
I served in the Army and I have lived several places before making West Virginia my home. Outside of CrossFit I work for the Government and I am an avid runner, bowler and I love spending time with my cat, Sassy.
What is your most memorable CrossFit experience?
My most memorable experience is to just get through some of the workouts. Sometimes you are just not sure if you are going to make it but with the help of the coaches and class you manage too.
Why did you try CrossFit?
I tried CrossFit after being hit by a car and suffering a broken tailbone. I wanted to be able to get back into running so I decided to incorporate something different into my routine. One day I was running and passed Teays Physical Therapy Center and saw people flipping tires. I thought that it looked like fun and something that I would like to try...so here I am!
What has been your biggest challenge or improvement?
My biggest challenge has been being able to lift a lot of weight and keep my form. I have been working on it each class and I am definitely getting better.
What is your favorite workout?
My favorite workout would have to be the ones that include running!
