Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters. I love spending time with my family. I'm also a Physician Assistant at the Edwards Comprehensive Care Center at CHH.
What is your most memorable CrossFit experience?
My most memorable moment was doing CrossFit while pregnant. I was able to modify workouts as needed, and having the support of the coaches and other CrossFitters kept me motivated.
Why did you try CrossFit?
I wanted something that would challenge and push me in every single workout. CrossFit does that for me. Whether it is pull-ups, double unders, or box jumps there is always something that I can improve on. Knowing that has helped to keep me consistent and motivated in the workouts.
What has been your biggest challenge or improvement?
My biggest challenge has been pull-ups. However, with the tips from the coaches and practice I was recently able to do my first pull-up!!
What is your favorite workout?
My favorite workout would have to be Grace or any workout with cleans.
What advice would you give to a new member?
Don't be intimidated! CrossFit is meant to be challenging, but every workout can be modified to fit your skill level. So don't get discouraged if you feel like you are struggling with a workout, more than likely everyone else feels that way too! Just stick with it, give it your best, and have fun!!
