I have a busy neurology practice at CAMC. My family is my priority. I am an old power lifter and had been out of the gym for several years. The constant nagging of one of my good friends led me to my first workout and I was immediately hooked. My time is very limited and the hour long workouts and very close proximity to my office make Revved Up CrossFit the perfect choice.
We came to Potential Plus for the individualized, expert training to increase performance and decrease risk of injury. We love it here. The strength coaches are experts in their field, and great with kids and young athletes. They emphasize proper form and have a systematic plan for development and improvement. They use a specific plan to overcome different issues and weaknesses by properly progressing the athletes and children.
I (Cindy) have been coming to the 5:30am class for 6 years, even before it was CrossFit. Steve said he would never work out that early, but 2 years ago he tried it and we have been coming together ever since. Revved Up CrossFit (RUCF) and it’s coaches have provided us with workouts that are challenging and different each day. Their philosophy of fitness has made us healthier and stronger than we’ve ever been.
My health and fitness had taken a back seat to a demanding job, a growing family, and other obligations. I felt out of shape and was continually tired. I had heard of CrossFit through friends and had seen their results, so when I was approached about a new class that was being offered, I cautiously agreed to stop by to find out more information.
I chose Potential PLUS because I had back surgery and my doctor recommended I begin weight training to strengthen my core. I also had double hernia surgery in January and was determined not to give up on my fitness goals. I was taking a Zumba class in the facility and saw a group of adults taking part in the Adult Fitness class. They were working hard and having a lot of fun. I thought it could be a good fit for me so I decided to give the class a try.
I chose Revved Up CrossFit because of my wife; she started to work out here I and decided to check it out. As a former athlete I was interested in doing a lot of the movements and exercises that I used to do as a wrestler & football player. After watching a couple classes, I researched CrossFit for more information and watched a lot of videos on it. I also did my research into the staff at Potential PLUS.
I chose Revved Up CrossFit when I stopped running and needed something to get me back into shape. My friends had said positive things about the workouts and trainers at Potential PLUS and I saw other female Revved Up CrossFit members showing great results physically and decided to give it a try myself.
